Crazy Ideas and Scientific Theories

Fall 2019

Welcome to Crazy Ideas and Scientific Theories! I am looking forward to a great semester.

A quick note about the Content menu. These content pages are part of your textbook reading and you are expected to read them in sequence as they are presented. Do not skip any menu items! If your browser doesn't accomodate hovering, you can click on a menu item to get to another menu where all of the links are visible and can be clicked on. If you are trying to use a mobile device, use the Limited Browser Menu. In the limited browser view links to all of the pages on this site are visible and they come up one page at a time.

You have homework due at the very beginning of the term! To see what it is, click on Homework #1 that appears when the cursor is placed over "Getting Started" in the "Content" section of the menu. Don't forget to read the first menu item, the page titled "Getting Started." See the syllabus for a complete list of when assignments are due. Only use the email form on this page or the input boxes on the individual webpages to send homework. Do not use your normal email. I don't open attachments.

Note: Even though we are using email to communicate with each other and to transmit our assignments, I still expect that your communications and homework will use proper grammar. This includes capitalization, spelling and sentence structure.

This course was developed with significant input from Dr. Lloyd Carr and Dr. Jeremiah Dolan.
