In the summer of 2010 we met to develop science inquiry curriculum for our classrooms. A part of our time was spent doing inquiry into rollers and ramps. At the end we presented our plan for the fall which included content assessment tools like MOSART and NECAP questions, inquiry assessment tools like performance tasks, actual explorations covering the initial probe and exploration that results in student questions, student generated investigations and data collection, extending the explorations and sense making through out the process. Here are a few pictures from the five days we had together.
